Just a thought, but, the Angels could save a few bucks and a win every road trip if they stop flying Ervin "Can't pitch worth a damn in grey" Santana on their road trips. I love the kid's talent and unquestionably bright future, but geeeeez he can't do it away from the Big A. Smells like trade bait that's cooking out in the bullpen....

According to the Los Angeles Times, "Former Angels closer Troy Percival, who has not pitched since July 2005 because of a forearm injury, is considering a comeback, according to his agent, Paul Cohen." Los Angeles Angels P John Lackey won his MLB-leading 8th game today, beating the New York Yankees 4-3. Lackey gave up five hits and two runs in 8.0 innings of work, striking out four and throwing 105 pitches on the afternoon. He now has an 8-3 record and a 2.36 season ERA.
