i think the astros should offer Jennings a 1 year 6-7 million deal. i wouldn't expect him to command more than that from other teams because of how hurt/bad he was this season. seems like he would want to do a 1 year deal to raise his stock and receive a payout the following off-season. he looks like the best SP in FA for that "potential" talent that the astros never got this year. most of the read more »

He's a free agent, and he seems to have had a serious rift with the Dodgers, so there is a very small chance he stays with them. He still lives in Texas, and the Astros seem to be the only team he ever played for where he didn't have any clubhouse problems. Does anyone think he might come back? Not many people are convinced by Burke and his infield/foul pop out routine every other ab...if we really are going to build our team around defense and speed, i'm trying to figure out why not luis castillo..would give us a true leadoff.. he averages 186 hits and 37 stolen bases per 162 games played. in the last 4 yrs, he's commited 6, 7, 6, and 5 errors at 2b. 3 time gg winner...i know we won read more »

I'm one of those fans who thinks that Luke Scott deserves a chance to be the starter in RF next year. In the sporadic playing time he got in 2007 Luke Scott had 369 AB's, 94 hits, 28 doubles, 5 triples and 18 HR's. He had a .351 OBP and a .504 SLG.
