I keep seeing people write about how much "potential and promise" Anthony Reyes has. I realize I may be in the minority, but I just don't see it. I was wondering how much Reyes being a Cardinal, and most of the people posting on this board being Cardinal fans might be interfering with peoples' judgement.

My question is this. Take a good look at Reyes performance over the past couple of years. If he weren't a Cardinal, would you still have the same opinion of his ability? If so, fine. Keep in mind, this guy is no rookie. He will be 27 years old by next season. I realize starting pitchers are traditionally late bloomers, but don't you think he should have shown a little more by now?

I think he is overvalued and we should up our marketability rating for him to 8/10
