I was reading some other boards, the Pirates may be looking to shop Jason Bay (who is coming off of an off-season due to a knee injury). Just wanted to see what others thought. I would love to see it happen, I think that if you could add another power hitting all-star (albeit every team has to have one representative) you should go for it.
He is locked up for the next two seasons ($5.75M for 2008 and $7.5M in 2009). It would take some young players, probably at least one pitcher, to get it done.
Can we start the discussion to see exactly what the Pirates would be interested in receiving from us?
