I think we should keep Schoenweis. As long as Willie uses him correctly (lefties only), he can be a valuable asset. I dont have the exact stats in front of me, but I am almost positive that he held lefties to an OPS under .600this season.

The statistic Left On Base Percent is a good indicator of a pitcher's ability. LOB% refers to the percentage of runners that got on base but didn’t score. Good pitchers have a high LOB%.

I'm happy we resigned Easley, but I hope that doesn't close the door on marlon anderson. we need to bring him back, a great pinch hitter and a fiery ballplayer. Anderson/easley is a solid one-two lefty-righty punch. I would give him a 2yr. contract comparable to what we gave Julio Franco. they can both back up 1B,2B and corner outfield. Posada is a better hitter, more home runs, more doubles, more runs, more rbi's, perhaps better avg. He also is better at throwing runners out. Lo Duca is better at receiving, posada has too many balls that pass him that he doesnt block.
