After reading this forum the past few weeks, Pelf seems as good as traded. I think he's a huge talent and got unlucky sometimes last year. If he can throw strikes with confidence and good location he could be the next big thing. read more »

I have to think this is the guy. Here are my reasons:

- Wagner showed he couldn't go a full season (even though it seemed as though he pitched less this year) and have the good stuff in Sept.

Best hitting prospect in the system is Fernando Martinez a 19 year old outfielder.

He had decent season at AA (which is very good for a player so young) but it was cut short due to a hand injury. He has the capabiltiy to be one of the top prospects in all of baseball in a couple of years and some have said that he may top that list by the time he is done. Very young but extremely talented. read more »

I just read that the Brewers have parted ways with Geoff Jenkins.

He's 33 years old, hit .255 in 2007, but has hit higher in his career, with 21 HRs and 64 RBIs.

He might be a good younger solution for left field. read more »
