Kendrick has done a fine job this season. Since pitching is in demand, is now the time to trade him? The Phillies could get a nice bunch of players from a team looking for young pitchers.

Alright boys, Schilling says he wants to pitch in 2008, wheter or not for the Sox or not. Am I the only one who would like to see Schilling pitch his final season in Philly? Come back to a team where he really got his chance with, I'd like to see him back, if the price is right that is, and if Garcia is gone or Moyer retires instead of pitching his full contract. At the time of his acquisition Branyan had played 284 major league games at third, 221 in the outfield and 41 at first baSE. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN SAY he plays any of those positions well. Adequate might be more like it. 118 home runs in only about 1900 at bats are his most intriguing numbers. The Phils could use more punch off the bench and he's played under Manuel before. Does anyone else feel the same way? I know he put up solid numbers this year, but just watching him swing hurts. He never gives good at bats. I would rather start Werth or Bourne over Shane.

We should update our depth chart with him at the bottom - maybe giving him one more chance will whoop him into shape. read more »
