I would like to get people's reactions and opinions on young Jerry O. Personally, I was very impressed with him this past season. Despite those pesky 63 Ks, and batting only .267, the guy is lightening in a bottle on the base paths.

This guy should be considered for a starting spot and we should adjust our depth chart accordingly. read more »

What would make no sense is if the Sox signed Eckstein, which I would not like, but so be it, and exercise Uribe's option, and move Uribe to second base. He's far and away the better SS defensively.

Now it'll be interesting to see what happens with arbitration or his negotiated '08 contract. His defense was sorely missed by the Sox this year. I hope for the team's sake that he's healthy and remains with the Sox.

All this trade talk is a lot of noise and should be put to bed.

We have to remember that Javy has been nothing more than a .500 pitcher his whole career. He has had other good years but hasnt been consistently a better that average pitcher. I hope he can pick up this year like he left off last year, but before we talk about trading Garland we better be sure.
